Family Night
Every Sunday evening Hunters Ridge reserves one of the 9's after 5:00 for families.  Tee times are required and noted on the tee sheet that the reservation is for a "Family Night" twosome or foursome.  This program is designed to allow inexperienced golfers the time to enjoy the game at a time when others, like them, are learning the game as well, without restrictions for a timely round. $10.00 per person for 9 holes including cart

Policies:
• Call ahead for "Family Night" designated tee time availability.
• Call in advance to reserve junior or adult rental clubs.
• Each golfer must have his or her own clubs. Rentals are available.
• An experienced golfer must accompany each novice.
• You must have a valid drivers license to drive a golf cart.
• Appropriate golf attire - NO TANK TOPS!
• No metal spikes.
• No coolers.  All alcoholic beverages must be purchased from Hunters Ridge Golf Course.

Suggestions for the novice golfer:
1. Learn Etiquette!  Fixing ball marks, divots, raking traps, where to walk on the putting green, when to yell "FORE", and proper cart usage are important factors when playing golf.
2. Have the new/novice golfer tee up from between  the white 150 yard fairway markers.  Golfers under the age of 10 are encouraged to tee up from between the red 100 yard markers.
3. Only play your ball when the group in front is out of your "potential hitting range".
4. Stop when you are frustrated.
5. Limit instruction on the course - PLAY & ENJOY
6. Use the RANGE for instruction.  Remember some young golfers just want to PLAY and may get impatient with instruction.  Keep it fun for them.
7. Don't keep track of your score, score means nothing... FUN IS EVERYTHING!
